Since I have become a Dad, my attention span is not great. I don't really have the patience to listen to entire albums over and over again. So, I stick to certain tracks more than others.

Southeast Engine's A Wheel Within A Wheel
I'd say it's more similar to Okkervil River than anything. Except they love Jesus. Which I can forgive, if the music is good enough.

Year-End Lists

I've been reading so many year-end lists on blogs and other sites and everyone has a different opinion. As Always.
What I don't get is that people always seem somehow insulted and upset when a list leaves out an album or has it ranked differently than they would have.
Honestly, what a waste of an opinion. Who really cares?
That said, I do like to read year-end lists. Whether they be for albums, songs, movies or whatever.
I've tried to suggest here and there that certain sites with power review certain releases so those artists can enjoy some success and maybe consider making more music.
I don't know if anyone will care, but I want free stuff, so I'm making this blog.
